First tournament cancelled

Sadly our first tournament of the fall season, which was going to be held at Kiawah Island, South Carolina, was cancelled due to Hurricane Florence. Florence once was a raging category 5 hurricane heading towards the Carolinas, forcing many to evacuate coastal areas. It has now thankfully been downgraded to a tropical storm. Although it may have been possible to play in the weather conditions on the days of the tournament, the course would not have been ready, having had to face a storm of that magnitude. I wish all people and areas affected by the hurricane a speedy recovery.

The good news is that we have managed to replace this tournament with a different event held in Orlando, Florida at the end of October.
