After my win at the Championnat Suisse National Matchplay I had one weekend without tournament before the three-tournament stretch of Championnat Suisse Orientale in Domat/Ems, Omnium Suisse in Breitenloo and the Mémorial Olivier Barras in Crans-sur-Sierre, all of which are classified as professional tournaments. I finished sixth at the Championnat National Orientale after rounds of 70, 74, 71 in some windy weather. Next was Omnium Suisse in Breitenloo with some rainy weather this time, where I finished fifth with rounds of 70, 74, 68, 73. Already the following day after the Omnium we travelled to Crans-Montana. After an opening 67 I liked my chances of snatching the spot, given to the best amateur, to play in the Omega European Masters this August. Slightly disappointing, but solid rounds of 73 and 71 followed though putting me in the 7th spot in the amateur leaderboard. I therefore have finished all the tournaments I have played in Europe this season under par so far and I am happy with the golf I'm playing at the moment. Next week I go to Poland with the Swiss Amateur Team to play the Division 2 Amateur Team Championships.
